I am so excited!

I am so excited! I was saving to go and see this concert in 2010 as my personal graduation present to myself and seeing as how that's not an option anymore I am happy that I at least have the opportunity to get a glimpse into what would've been the best concert in history!
Not only am I excited to see him performing during rehearsals but his style is so captivating and truly inspirational to me that I am looking forward to seeing his fabulous looks that he put together for the show. He is a force that still will be reckoned with and his style with continue to influence the fashion world. I must say that I am particularly excited about the gold sequin covered pants he wears for some of his sets.
Even with all of this excitement about the film I must admit I am still a bit apprehensive about viewing it simply because I know it's going to hurt and I hate being sad that he's gone because it's nothing but selfishness that is the driving force behind that feeling. For his sake he is in a better place where people aren't cruel and the Love that he tried to show is finally being given back to him 110%. God bless his family and friends and thank God for this movie!

Dirty Diana.

I just spent two and a half hours watching interviews of Michael with Martin Bashir and Diane Sawyer. I love him so much and I wish people could look past what the tabloids say and see the brilliance in him. He is the most amazing artist to date, period. He has delved in more than one area of the arts and has brought them together in an electrifying way. He is my favorite identity artist and as I try and explore the identity structures that ensue from being a twin I will continue to look at him for inspiration.
"Dirty Diana" is my favorite song and I love this video because it is simply him doing what he does best. I am entranced by his presence and his ability to command attention from his movement and clothing. His soul is vibrant and pure. This video shows the passion that comes from that.

"The funk of 40,000 years..."

I think we all know that if for some reason I ever had to go to prison, this would be the place for me.
This is fantastic. As Michael says, "It's all about love, L.O.V.E." These inmates are obviously loving life and why shouldn't they, MJ is helping them pass the time and not to mention helping them gain fame.

They Don't Really Care About Us.

Not only was this specific music video banned but MJ got in a lot of trouble for a few of the lyrics in this song. Also I find this song a bit foreshadowing of the video I will be posting next.

I say rock on.
